With advanced knowledge and high-level skills, inspect, test, adjust, repair, and perform maintenance on airframe and engine systems and components-primarily supporting King Air and other turboprop aircraft. This role requires strong technical expertise, independent decision-making, and leadership in executing complex maintenance work in accordance with FAA regulations, manufacturer specifications, and company procedures.

You may start your day reviewing work scopes and technical data for King Air or turboprop maintenance tasks. From there, you could be troubleshooting system discrepancies, performing inspections, or supporting modifications on aircraft.

Throughout the day, you'll take ownership of assigned projects-working independently and leading portions of work while supporting newer technicians. Your expertise ensures all work is completed accurately, efficiently, and in full compliance with regulatory requirements.

Perform advanced inspections, servicing, and repairs on aircraft systems and components, with emphasis on King Air and turboprop aircraft. Troubleshoot and function test airframe, engine, and component systems using manufacturer technical data. Lead assigned aircraft projects, ensuring work scope, quality, and timelines are met. Interpret and apply technical data, service bulletins, and airworthiness directives. Complete and review maintenance documentation in accordance with FAA regulations and company procedures.

Utilize the work order system to document discrepancies and corrective actions accurately. Support and mentor junior technicians in both technical execution and documentation practices. Maintain compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory standards. Ensure proper use and maintenance of tools, equipment, and work areas. Perform other duties as assigned.

High school diploma or equivalent required. 8+ years of aircraft maintenance experience required. Strong knowledge of FARs 43, 65, 91, 135, and 145. Experience working on turboprop aircraft required;
King Air experience strongly preferred.

FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License required. Inspection Authorization (IA) preferred. Ability to obtain and maintain AOA badge. Must obtain and retain Elliott Aviation Production Inspector (Blue Stamp) designation.

Advanced troubleshooting and diagnostic capabilities across aircraft systems. Ability to interpret and apply complex technical data and regulatory requirements. Strong leadership and mentoring skills. Effective communication in complex technical situations. High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage project timelines. Commitment to maintaining a safe and compliant work environment.

Lift up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs occasionally. Extended standing, bending, kneeling, and working in confined spaces. Exposure to aircraft maintenance environments including noise, temperature variation, and heights.

Maintain required tooling to perform assigned duties. Ability to work various shifts and overtime as needed. Occasional overnight or short-notice travel.
