Your role
We are looking for an analytical Category Development Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing data analysis, monitoring businesses and supporting the Category team in developing new categories.

This role requires analytical skills, as well as communication skills, creative thinking and flexibility to change.

Main success factors include the ability to read results and analyze data, effective communication, quick comprehension of complex environment and management of strict deadlines.

Main responsibilities:

Data Analysis: run periodic and ad hoc analysis on specific business areas, being able to explain variances versus different scenario (Budget, Prior Year, etc…)

Reports & Presentations: update and prepare reportsto analyze and present category performance, sales trends, and market insights.

Collaborate with the Category Manager to develop and execute strategies for category growth and profitability.

Liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth communication and timely resolution of any issues.

Main requirements:

Educational Background in Business, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.

Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets and draw meaningful conclusions.

Experience with data analysis

Creative thinking

Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to present data and insights in a clear and compelling manner.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team, understanding the value of working together to achieve common goals.

Proven ability to drive changes and drive results, with a passion for data and a desire to make a positive impact on the business.

Proficient in Excel and Power Point
