Help Shape the Commercial Success of Renewable Energy Assets
As a Commercial Operations Associate, you will play a key role in ensuring the commercial performance and transparency of a growing renewable energy portfolio. You will combine analytical reporting, contract management, market analysis, and stakeholder collaboration to support informed business decisions and maximise portfolio value. Working closely with teams across Legal, Finance, Operations, and Energy Markets, you will contribute to commercial initiatives, maintain high-quality data and reporting standards, and help ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
This role offers a broad exposure to the renewable energy sector and provides an excellent opportunity to further develop your commercial, analytical, and market expertise in a dynamic international environment.
Your Sunny Outlook
Internal & External Reporting:
You prepare and maintain accurate reports for management, investors, and regulatory authorities, ensuring timely delivery and continuously enhancing reporting processes.
Contract Management & Commercial Operations:
You support the management of PPAs and other commercial agreements, monitor contractual obligations, and help maximise the commercial value of the portfolio.
Portfolio Optimisation:
You analyse contract and asset performance, identify value-enhancement opportunities, and contribute to initiatives that improve portfolio profitability and efficiency.
Data & Systems Management:
You maintain commercial and operational data across internal systems, ensuring high data quality and the accurate documentation of assets, contracts, and related information.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
You work closely with Legal, Project Finance, Corporate Finance, Operations, and external counter parties to support commercial activities and efficient information exchange.
Commercial Analysis & Market Insights:
You prepare analyses, presentations, and reports based on market and operational data, providing actionable insights that support decision-making and portfolio management.
Commercial Project Support:
You assist in pricing assessments, commercial evaluations, and documentation for new agreements while contributing to wider commercial initiatives and projects.

Relevant Academic Background:
You hold a degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, Finance, Law, or a comparable field.
Professional
Experience:
You have at least two years of experience in an analytical, reporting, commercial operations, energy sales, energy procurement, or related role, ideally within the energy sector.
Reporting & Regulatory Knowledge:
You have hands-on experience with internal and external reporting and are familiar with EMIR and REMIT reporting requirements.
Analytical Mindset:
You work in a structured, data-driven manner, are comfortable handling large datasets, and can translate complex information into meaningful insights.
Systems & Data
Skills:
You have experience working with reporting tools, databases, and business systems and understand the importance of maintaining high-quality data across multiple sources.
Commercial Understanding:
You are comfortable working with commercial agreements, monitoring contractual performance, coordinating multiple stakeholders, and identifying opportunities to create additional value.
Communication & Language
Skills:
You communicate confidently in English and Italian, both verbally and in writing; additional European language skills are considered an advantage.
