Borsa Italiana - Market Surveillance Analyst
Join our team as Market Surveillance Analyst, in our offices in Milan!

Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities

Real-time and ex-post markets supervision, mainly on equity and fixed income

Market interventions, handling of input errors, supervision of after-hours trading and management of member firms' requests

Prospective and retrospective monitoring of compliance with trading venue rules, as well as with applicable national and European regulation

Management of surveillance alerts, investigations and reporting of suspicious transactions (STOR, AML) to the competent authorities

Real-time and ex-post monitoring of liquidity provision obligations

Contribution to the delivery of high-quality internal and external customer service in trading surveillance of the markets organized and managed by Borsa Italiana

Development, maintenance and use of algorithms, tools and ad hoc applications for real-time monitoring, ex-post surveillance, pattern detection and market management, including BOT and computer-aided market control actions

Work is performed in an office environment and may require extended working hours

Your Profile

Operational exposure to trading venues rule books, trading system parameters and technical mechanisms

Sound knowledge of European regulation (MiFID II, MiFIR, MAR) and its application to trading venues

Previous experience in trading support, internal audit, compliance, risk management or similar corporate control functions

Strong analytical and organizational skills

Good verbal and written communication skills

Proven ability to work effectively in a team
