Senior Institutional Discretionary Portfolio Manager, Director

Experteer Overview As Senior Discretionary Portfolio Manager, you will lead institutional portfolios within the Italian DPM team, guiding investment decisions and supervising a small team. You contribute to Deutsche Bank’s Private Bank investment solution by aligning client mandates with the global investment process. You engage with Relationship Managers and end clients to drive growth and risk‑aware outcomes.

This role offers influence over portfolio strategies and client outcomes in a globally connected bank with local depth. You will shape discretionary mandates and help expand institutional business across generations.

Support business development by assisting Relationship Managers and Investment Managers ResponsabilitàDegree in Finance, Economics, Business, Engineering or related field

At least 20 years of experience in Discretionary Portfolio Management

Experience with in Chief Investment Office and/or Asset Management a plus Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities

Excellent client communication and interpersonal skills

Fluency in Italian and English (written and spoken)
Solid risk‑awareness and risk management expertise

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint)
