Experteer Overview In this role, you will steer the Portfolio Construction and Tactical Asset Allocation process with a focus on private and real assets, supporting the group's strategic asset allocation. You’ll work with cross-regional teams to model cashflows, run scenario analyses, and develop tools for portfolio optimization and strategy testing. You will translate investment ideas into measurable inputs aligned with risk appetite and constraints, contributing to asset allocation and performance across global portfolios.
This is a hands‑on position in a high‑impact team shaping private debt, private infrastructure, and real estate strategies within Generali’s Group CIO framework.
Retribuzione / Benefits Steer Portfolio Construction and Tactical Asset Allocation for Group portfolios with emphasis on private and real assets
Define and maintain the group commitment budget and the model portfolio for Private Debt, Private & Infrastructure Equity, and Real Estate Equity Model cashflows and develop scenario analyses for asset classes
Coordinate with asset managers and asset class specialists for key inputs
Develop and maintain tools for portfolio optimization, investment strategy modeling, and allocation monitoring
Generate investment ideas, back-test hedges and strategies, assess coherence with risk appetite and constraints
ResponsabilitàMaster Degree in Finance7+ years of experience in finance, preferably in asset management or insurance
Advanced knowledge of capital markets, asset allocation, portfolio optimization, and private assets modeling
Analytical skills with Excel, VBA, Python/ Matlab; data management with Access, SQL; presentation with Power Point Fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages a plus
Experience with Bloomberg/Refinitiv Eikon and other data providers a plus
CFA and/or CAIA Charter holder a plus Proactive, problem‑solving, independent thinking, entrepreneurial mindset
Strong team orientation, autonomy, and ability to work under pressure
Ability to operate in an international context
