FP&A Analyst

FP&A Analyst – Italy (Milan)    A key member of the Finance team based in Milan, the FP&A Analyst reports to the Head of FP&A for Italy. The role focuses on analysing and forecasting financial information to support Senior Management in critical decision‑making across the Italian portfolio.
Responsibilities      Prepare monthly and year‑end financial reporting with full scope on the consolidated view of managerial results, including operating assets, projects under development, and service companies.
Review financial models to support forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning.
Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for the Italy business.
Develop budgets and forecasts, support cash‑flow estimation for distributions to shareholders, and prepare and present financial reports to Senior Management and non‑financial stakeholders.
Conduct variance analyses comparing actual results with budgeted and forecasted figures, identify variances, and provide recommendations for corrective actions.
Create ad‑hoc reports as required and ensure financial data is accurate, up‑to‑date, and effectively used by the business.
Qualifications      Background in financial planning & analysis or controlling within a corporate environment.
Proven expertise in financial modelling, forecasting, and budgeting processes.
Hands‑on experience preparing managerial reports and presenting financial insights to Senior Management.
Proficiency in English, both spoken and written (additional languages a plus).
Tech fluency, including familiarity with or interest in developing AI tools to streamline data preparation and reporting.
Desirable Skills      Background in FP&A or controlling within a corporate environment.
Expertise in financial modelling, forecasting and budgeting.
Hands‑on experience preparing managerial reports and presenting insights to Senior Management.
Proficiency in English; additional languages a plus.
Tech fluency, interest in developing AI tools.
