He/she ensures and optimizes data consolidation and monitors the subsidiaries’ AFC activities. Sample of the activities: management of reconciliation procedures; management of relationships with the audit firm; preparation of budgets, supporting the collection of final data and the formulation of forecasts; analysis and interpretation of results, verification of deviations from forecasts, investigation of causes, and identification of corrective measures. The ideal candidate will be a resource with not less than 5 years and no more than 10 years of experience in the AFC areas and the ability to run the role.
Key Responsibilities (samples)
Administration/Financial Reporting and Analysis
oversee the preparation and consolidation of administration/financial statements for a portfolio of subsidiaries.
ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
conduct financial analysis and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
Budgeting and Forecasting
lead the annual budgeting process for a portfolio of subsidiaries.
prepare and review forecasts and variance analyses.
monitor financial performance and implement corrective actions as needed.
Financial Controls and Compliance
maintain a robust internal control environment.
ensure compliance with local financial regulations.
conduct regular audits and implement recommendations for improvement.
liaise with external auditors, tax advisors and regulatory units
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Engineering & Management or a related field; a Master’s degree or CPA/CFA is preferred.
Proven experience in the Administration, Finance and Control areas, ideally with responsibility and within the services industry.
In-depth knowledge of corporate finance and accounting principles, laws, and best practices.
Experience in managing accounting and financial consolidations.
Skills and Competencies

proficiency in financial software and MS Office, particularly Excel.
high attention to detail and organizational skills.
ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Experience
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the AFC fields.
Proven track record of implementing admin/financial controls.
Additional Requirements
Willingness to travel to subsidiary locations as needed.
English language mandatory.
