In this role you manage and optimize ENGIE’s power portfolio for the Downstream activity of the Global Business Unit Supply & Energy Management. You work closely with the Senior Power Portfolio Manager to drive pricing, hedging, and P&L monitoring, balancing analytical, operational, and data-driven tasks. You will structure bespoke contracts, ensure accurate deal validation in ETRM systems, and support forecasting and data tooling improvements.

Monitor and report portfolio P&L and risk indicators (greeks and stress tests) and ensure compliance with risk mandate
Elaborate and execute hedging strategy with Trading desk using financial and physical instruments
Perform costing activities for new contracts or client activities
Structure standard products and tailored contracts (Renewable PPA, non-standard price formulas) with Sales and Marketing
Ensure daily entry and validation of deals in ETRM systems; perform risk analysis, exercise, and settlements
Maintain data consistency between portfolio data, reporting tools, and control systems; validate monthly price for invoicing
Collaborate with Forecasting team to improve consumption profiling used in pricing and update portfolio and P&L forecasts
Contribute to tool development to automate portfolio and risk management processes
2–5 years of energy sector experience in Gas & Power portfolio management, costing, or risk management
Knowledge of the Italian energy market and downstream dynamics
Knowledge of energy financial instruments (forwards, swaps, options)
Understanding of pricing and forecasting models

Experience with ETRM systems and reporting tools
Strong Excel skills;
Python or R is a plus
Familiarity with Dataiku or Databricks and PowerBI
Strong analytical mind and ability to synthesize complex information
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Proactiveness, curiosity, and ability to operate in a dynamic environment
English fluency; native or near-native preferred
