Senior Investment Analyst  advanced role supporting investment activities across deal screening, financial analysis and modelling, investment committee materials, portfolio monitoring, and market research. The position offers a high degree of autonomy and ownership of assigned work streams, while working closely with senior investment professionals, portfolio companies, and external advisors.
Deal screening support:  Proactively conduct in-depth research and analysis on the targeted investment opportunities to provide a well-informed, preliminary business opinion (go/no-go) to senior leadership.
Financial Analysis:  propose, manage, and refine detailed financial models and business plans, including leveraged buyout (LBO) models, advanced forecasts, sensitivity analyses, and comprehensive valuation scenarios; conduct rigorous and in-depth financial diagnostics of potential investment targets.
Investment Committee:  Participation to the full drafting of complete investment memoranda and presentations under Investment senior members supervision; independently develop clear and robust valuation summaries on specific sections; presentation of investment opportunities preliminary analysis in the internal weekly team meeting.
Due Diligence:  Actively participating to key due diligence work streams, engaging effectively with external junior members of advisors teams to exchange information and documents; review of financial documentation and draft executive summaries of selected DD reports to facilitate the review of senior leadership; control, storage and execution of engagement letters,
Transaction Execution:  administrative and operational support during all deal activities and responsible for specific tasks with limited in dependency, following a specific and well defined procedure assigned by senior team members.
Portfolio Monitoring:  Thoroughly review and analyze reports from portfolio companies, identifying and summarizing significant deviations; actively contribute to tracking initiatives aimed at portfolio value creation and KPI optimization; assist in detailed portfolio valuations and exit preparation analyses. Development of good relationships with the operational counterparts within the Port Co (e.g. controllers) for facilitating information exchange.
Requisiti   Bachelor s or Master s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
2-3 years of relevant experience in Private Equity, Investment Banking, Transaction Services, Corporate Finance, M&A Advisory, or a similar investment-related environment.
Solid understanding of corporate finance, financial statement analysis, valuation methodologies, and transaction processes.
Strong financial modelling skills, including experience with integrated financial models, valuation analyses, forecasting, sensitivity analyses, and preferably LBO models.
Proven ability to conduct detailed market research, competitive analysis, and commercial assessments to support investment decisions.
Experience contributing to due diligence processes, reviewing financial information, and coordinating with external advisors and stakeholders.
Ability to prepare high-quality investment materials, including investment memoranda, presentations, and management reports.
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to formulate preliminary investment views and identify key risks and value drivers.
Demonstrated ability to work autonomously on assigned work streams while effectively collaborating with senior team members.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to interact with advisors, portfolio company representatives, and internal stakeholders.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
Proactive, curious, and results-oriented mindset, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
Fluent in English, both written and spoken; additional languages are considered a plus.
