Senior Manager, Finance

Overview
Responsible for the financial leadership, planning, reporting, control and compliance oversight of the Italian business. The role leads local cash flow planning and reporting, billing and collections oversight, SG&A budget management, business performance analysis, commercial finance support, entity compliance, and monthly close and audit coordination. Transaction processing, accounting execution, purchase-to-pay and payment activities are performed by the offshore shared services center, with the Finance Director responsible for local oversight, review, issue resolution and escalation.

Key Responsibilities

Cash flow planning and reporting:
Lead local cash flow planning, forecasting, analysis and reporting, ensuring visibility over key inflows, outflows, funding needs and working capital priorities.

Billing, collections and order-to-cash oversight:
Coordinate the billing and collections process, monitor customer receivables, reconcile revenue information with finance reporting, and elevate billing or collection issues with Lease Administration, Sales and the shared services center as required.

SG&A budget management:
Manage and monitor the local SG&A budget, support annual budget setting and periodic forecasts, and provide regular analysis of actual performance against budget and forecast to regional and corporate leadership.

Organic and Investment growth analysis:
Analyze and report on organic growth, investment activity and business performance, including support for growth initiatives, acquisition‑related monitoring, funding requirements and compliance with investment or financing agreements.

Commercial proposition support:
Provide financial advice and analysis to commercial and client‑facing teams, including financial modelling, profitability assessment, revenue recognition considerations and evaluation of customer or vendor‑related financial impacts.

Entity compliance and governance:
Ensure local entity compliance with commercial laws, tax, statutory, regulatory and corporate governance requirements, working closely with corporate tax, legal, treasury, external advisors and local service providers.

Monthly close, reporting and audit oversight:
Oversee monthly close and year‑end audit processes, coordinate with central accounting and shared services teams, review local financial information, approve local financial statements where required, and maintain a strong local control environment.

Shared services coordination:
Act as the local finance owner for activities performed by the offshore shared services center, including transaction processing, accounting execution, purchase‑to‑pay activities and payment processing. The role is responsible for oversight, review, issue resolution, escalation and ensuring service delivery supports local business and compliance requirements.

Team leadership:
Lead, coach and develop the local finance team, ensuring clear ownership of deliverables, effective prioritization, strong collaboration with regional finance, and consistent execution against business, control and compliance priorities.

Stakeholder management and business support:
Maintain effective relationships with key customers, vendors, internal finance teams, regional leadership and corporate functions, and contribute to departmental and company‑wide objectives as required.

Working Conditions And Physical Demands
Position works in a normal office environment. Standing, sitting, and walking are required daily. Job will involve occasional travel.

Qualifications And Experience

Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance or a professional accounting qualification.

Minimum 10 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, controllership or broader finance leadership roles.
