We are seeking an Associate to support M&A initiatives, with significant involvement in international transactions. The role will focus on financial analysis, valuation models, and the preparation of transaction materials, while also supporting project coordination and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
Main Responsibilities
Support M&A projects in Italy and abroad throughout the different phases of the transaction process.
Contribute to the analysis and evaluation of potential investment opportunities through financial and strategic assessments.
Assist in deal execution by coordinating work streams, tracking timelines, and facilitating alignment among internal functions and external advisors. Support Due Diligence activities across financial, tax, commercial, legal, and technical work streams, coordinating with relevant internal functions and external advisors.
Assist in the review of financial information and key business drivers to support transaction assessments.
Participate in the preparation of financial analyses, business plans, and financial models.
Support valuation exercises using different methodologies.
Collaborate with internal functions (e.g. Finance, Tax, Accounting, Asset Management, Legal) during transaction execution.
Coordinate data requests and manage interactions with advisors, counter parties, and portfolio company management teams.
Support discussions with external stakeholders, including financial advisors, investment banks, and business partners.
Prepare presentations, reports, and decision-making materials for management and governance bodies.
Assist the Legal team in reviewing transaction documentation (e.g., SPA, SHA).
Support analyses related to capital structure, financing alternatives, and transaction impacts.
2/3 years of experience in M&A, Corporate Finance, Business Development, Strategy, or other relevant corporate functions, with no industry specialization required.
Exposure to financial analysis, valuation, due diligence, or strategic projects would be considered a plus.
Experience in international or multicultural environments is desirable.
Key Competences
Degree in Economics, Finance, or equivalent fields.
Excellent command of the English language (C1). Knowledge of another language will be considered a plus.
Strong proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, as well as familiarity with Bloomberg, Fact Set, and Capital IQ.
Result-oriented with a proactive and analytical mindset.
Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
Self-starter with an intrapreneurial attitude.
Compensation
Base Salary between 45.000 € and 65.000 € + Bonus;
