Position: Investment Banking Associate (f/m/x)
As an Investment Banking Associate at Deutsche Bank, you will support large-cap M&A, ECM, and Leveraged Finance origination and execution. You’ll work with Italian, European, and global clients on complex deals, building financial models and preparing pitches. The role blends execution with origination support, offering exposure to cross-border teams and a strong learning environment. You’ll contribute to deal execution and franchise building while developing professionally within a renowned global bank.

Work on complex projects for top Italian, European and global clients
Contribute to developing ideas to help clients meet strategic and financial goals
Perform detailed valuation and financial analyses (DCF, comps, LBO, transaction structures)
Project management and involvement in live transactions and pitches
Participate in team discussions and client meetings, delivering parts of presentations
Interact with sectors and product teams across the bank, locally and abroad
Support senior bankers in origination and coverage efforts
Contribute to franchise-building activities and regional Talent Development
Engage in networking and Talent Development offerings
Excellent academic record with Bachelor and Master degrees
Extensive full-time experience in Investment Banking and/or Private Equity
Proven technical skills in financial modelling, financial analysis, and valuation methodologies
Fluent in English and Italian; strong written and verbal communication
Strong proficiency with financial analytics software and Microsoft Office
Commercial instinct and passion for finance and capital markets
Results-driven, able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Team player with ability to manage multiple responsibilities
Committed to high professional and ethical standards
