Relationship Manager – Corporate & Institutional Banking

An international banking institution is looking to appoint an experienced  Relationship Manager  to join its  Corporate & Institutional Banking  team in Milan.

Relationship Manager – Corporate & Institutional Banking
Work Style:  Office-based

Key Responsibilities   Develop and manage relationships with large corporate clients and financial institutions.
Identify and originate new business opportunities while expanding the existing client portfolio.
Execute marketing and business development activities.
Conduct client due diligence, KYC reviews and credit analysis.
Prepare credit applications and present recommendations to the Credit Committee.
Coordinate transaction execution and manage post-loan activities.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, banks and other counter parties.
Requirements   Degree in Economics, Business Administration or a related discipline (master’s degree is an advantage).
8+ years' experience  in Corporate Banking, Commercial Banking or Financial Institutions.
Experience managing large corporate relationships; syndicated lending experience would be an advantage.
Strong understanding of banking products, lending and financial markets.
Proven credit analysis and financial analysis skills.
Fluent in  Italian and English  (written and spoken).  Chinese language skills would be an advantage but are not essential.
Strong communication and relationship management skills with the ability to work in an international environment.
