International Private Bank, Associate, Investor

As an Associate Investor in the UHNW Italy team, you would communicate market strategy and investment knowledge to clients while also consulting with them to determine their portfolio objectives and long term asset allocations. Our investment/product universe is the entire spectrum of Wealth Management open architecture platform including Fixed Income, Equities, Alternatives and global multi-asset mandates.

You would quickly establish credibility internally and externally, partner with Private Bankers, Investors and Prospectors in our EMEA wealth management group and build rapport with clients as investment expert of the firm in order to promote services to endowments & foundations.

Job Responsibilities

Play a leading role in the investment dialogue with clients

Advise clients on holistic asset allocation and portfolio construction and tactical asset allocation shifts

Execute investment solutions in client accounts in accordance with client plans. Such solutions include:
Investment Management, Mutual Funds, Structured Products, Hedge Funds, Private Equity, Foreign Exchange, as well as execution of more traditional brokerage transactions.

Generate new business and regional expansion, by participating in new business opportunities with EMEA Integrated Team Members and Senior Management

Understand the J.P. Morgan platform, solutions, investment philosophy

Interact effectively with the various internal product partners, banking teams, risk and compliance, marketing, etc

Required Qualifications , Capabilities and Skills

Relevant market experience advising UHNW clients within Italy

A proven track record of building trust with clients and effectively managing relationships, both externally and internally, will be vital to this role

Excellent communication skills – you would be articulate both verbally and on paper and able to generate trust with clients through a credible discussion on investment matters

Strong presentation and interpersonal skills

Personality marked by tenacity and ambition with demonstrated success in dealing with a wide range of clients

Superior analytical skills; strong computer skills

Fluency in Italian and English

Preferred Qualifications , Capabilities and Skills

Asset allocation / multi asset class portfolio or sales experience is favorable

Ability to thrive in an internal culture that values innovation, customer service, internal partnership and entrepreneurship

The job grading and the related economic treatment, within the above-mentioned pay range, will be determined in accordance with the National Collective Bargaining Agreement (Contratto Collettivo Nazionale di Lavoro) for middle managers (quadri direttivi) and professional staff employed by banking, financial and ancillary companies (the “CCNL”, available at the following link) applicable to the employment relationship, pursuant to the provisions set out in Articles VI and [XIII] (if quadro)/[XIV] (if non quadro) of the CCNL, and on the basis of objective and gender-neutral criteria, consistent with the role, relevant professional experience, required skills and the type of contract.
