Responsibilities Supporting payroll due diligence activities in the context of extraordinary transactions (M&A, carve‑outs, corporate restructurings)
Conducting analysis and review of employee payroll to ensure the correct application of tax and social security legislation

Assisting in managing social security requirements for international movements/global mobility, including the application of bilateral social security treaties and totalisation agreements

Supporting compensation & benefits matters, including analysing the correct tax treatment and calculating the taxable base for equity plans, stock options, long‑term incentive plans and fringe benefits

Providing assistance to the team on global mobility payroll matters

Requirements

Master’s degree in Economics, Law, or related disciplines

Qualification or trainee status as Dottore Commercialista or Consulente del Lavoro At least 2–3 years of experience in a leading consulting firm (Big 4 or equivalent) or a prominent tax and legal practice

Hands‑on experience in payroll due diligence and compensation & benefits

Strong knowledge of payroll processes, including employer obligations and labour‑law‑driven requirements

Fluent English, with the ability to operate in international contexts and draft technical documentationA quick learner who is diligent, adaptable and willing to take on new challenges

The ideal candidates will be engaged, entrepreneurial, action-orientated, and hands-on. They will have experience working in the Spanish market. The ability to quickly establish, develop and enhance internal and client relationships will be key in the collaborative network we work in at A&M.Coming into the team, your role will be varied, dynamic and have the opportunity to work with some exciting clients.
