Senior FX Dealer

Hamilton Court FX, founded in 2011 in London, is one of the fastest-growing companies in its sector. It has been featured in The Sunday Times Virgin Atlantic Fast Track 100 for its rapid sales growth. In 2020, driven by strong growth in the UK, HCFX opened a new office in Milan, becoming the first licensed SIM to offer FX investment services in Italy.

The Milan office includes two regulated entities: a “Società d’Intermediazione Mobiliare” (SIM) and an “Istituto di Pagamento” (IdP). HCFX Italy helps companies and financial institutions manage their FX exposure, enabling mid and large corporates to trade globally by simplifying traditional procedures.

About the role
The Senior FX Dealer is a crucial role for HCFX, fitting into the Front Office department with responsibility for managing the trading client portfolio.

Key responsibilities

Building and managing a portfolio of corporate clients executing a range of different products, including FX Derivatives

Execution of FX trades (Spot, FWD, NDF, Options) with multiple liquidity providers, using various trading platforms, as well as Bloomberg

Collaborating with the Sales team to assist in business origination

Understanding client’s business environments, strategies, and industry to provide the best solution for their situation

Buildinging and maintaining strong relationship with the clients through customers meeting.

Essential experience & skills

Significant experience as FX dealing/corporate sales and an existing client list

Experience of working in a commercial bank or an FX broker dealing with SME’s and mid corporates

Strong communication skills

Able to develop sales strategies

Comfortable with a phone-led sales approach

Skilled in establishing strong relationships.
