Core Job Functions and Responsibilities Assists in daily food preparation and mise en place under the supervision of Chef de Partie and Sous Chef Prepares ingredients, basic sauces, garnishes, and components according to recipes and hotel standards

Ensures proper handling, storage, and labeling of all food items to maintain freshness and comply with hygiene and safety regulations

Supports cooking and plating of dishes under supervision, ensuring quality, consistency, and correct presentation

Maintains cleanliness and organization of assigned station and kitchen areas

Operates kitchen equipment safely and reports any malfunction or maintenance issues

Follows all food safety, sanitation, and HACCP procedures consistently

Assists in inventory management, stock rotation, and proper storage of ingredients

Supports the kitchen team during high-volume service, banquets, and special events

Attends daily briefings, training sessions, and meetings as required

Adheres to hotel policies regarding personal hygiene, grooming, punctuality, and professional conduct

Works collaboratively with colleagues to ensure smooth kitchen operations and a positive working environment

Performs any additional duties assigned by the Chef de Partie, Sous Chef, or Executive Chef to support kitchen operations

Core Competencies Fluent in English & Italian is a must. Must be able to communicate clearly and politely with colleagues and supervisors in a friendly, attentive and service‑oriented manner

Proven work experience in a professional kitchen, ideally 1–2 years in a similar role

Able to handle the pressure of a fast‑paced, high‑energy kitchen environment

Strong hands‑on mentality and willingness to learn under supervision

Must be flexible with scheduling according to business and operational needs

Able to multitask and prioritize basic kitchen duties to support smooth service

Maintains personal hygiene, grooming and professional appearance at all times

Complies with hotel safety, sanitation and HACCP standards

Maintains a warm, positive and cooperative demeanor with colleagues and guests

Must hold the required authorization to work in a European country
