Job Description
THE POSITION
The People Partner reports to the People Director and works closely with the European and global HR team, as well as other global functions like Finance and Legal, and external partners and service providers. This role supports the HR needs of managers and employees across multiple European countries. We are looking for a senior HR professional who combines strategic thinking with a hands‑on, operational mindset and who thrives in a dynamic, fast‑evolving environment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Partner with HR leadership to understand business needs across Europe and support day‑to‑day HR operations.
Manage the full employee lifecycle: hiring, onboarding, offboarding, contract changes, compensation and benefits, absence management, employee data, compliance, and employee relations.
Ensure data integrity across HR systems and tools.
Act as liaison between Shared Services (HR, Finance, Legal) and internal stakeholders.
Manage interactions with authorities and external providers related to C&B, social security, and mobility.
Support the design and implementation of competitive compensation and benefits programs.
Administer HR programs including performance and talent management, recognition, morale, development, leaves, disciplinary matters, and investigations.
Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in compliance with local laws.
Stay current on HR trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies, including AI applications in HR.
Support international mobility and relocation processes.
Guide stakeholders through sensitive conversations and transitions.
Lead or support initiatives in training, diversity, inclusion, and engagement.
Act as an ambassador for company culture and support internal communication.
Demonstrate commitment to DE&I through inclusive behaviours and proactive bias management.
EXPECTATIONS OF THE JOB
Travel:
This position will not require travel, but this requirement may vary.
Hours:
Full‑time, normal working hours, from Monday to Friday.
QUALIFICATIONS
MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE,
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Minimum of 8‑10 years of HR operations experience, including 3‑5 years in an international environment.
Proven working experience with employment‑related laws in more than one European country (Italy mandatory; Spain and Portugal ideal).
Fluent in English and Italian; any other European language is a plus.
Familiarity with AI tools and their application in HR.
Excellent organisational and project‑leadership skills.
Experience in a fast‑paced environment and a pragmatic, solution‑oriented attitude.
Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and time‑management skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, negotiation and conflict‑resolution skills.
Professional integrity, confidentiality, and a data‑driven mentality.
Experience with comprehensive HRIS systems and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor‑level degree.
Any training in People Partner, Labor Legislation, Compensation and Benefits or Social Security is highly appreciated.
