Within Sales, we're focused on achieving out performance across all of our channels, operating in highly competitive categories. We have around 10,000 sales people across the world, within market roles and ranging in areas like Field Sales, Key Accounts, Trade Marketing and Category Development.
About the role
The Regional Key Account is responsible for managing and developing assigned customers across the Rome and Lazio area, driving sustainable sales growth, profitability and market share across a portfolio of market-leading FMCG brands across the Household, Hygiene, Sexual Wellness and Personal Care categories. With a strong focus on both sell-in and sell-out excellence, the role ensures the effective execution of commercial, category and promotional strategies, while building strong customer partnerships and identifying opportunities to accelerate business growth and in-store performance.
The role is field-based and requires regular presence across the Lazio region, with a strong focus on Rome. While the reporting office is located in Milan, relocation to or regular presence in Milan is not required. Your responsibilities
Drive the achievement of sales targets, KPIs and business objectives through the effective management of customer relationships and commercial agreements.
Negotiate, implement and monitor commercial agreements, ensuring sustainable business growth, profitability and customer satisfaction.
Develop and execute customer business plans, driving the optimal category and portfolio mix to maximize sales performance and customer profitability.
Collaborate closely with Marketing and Trade Marketing teams to develop and implement category strategies, customer-specific commercial plans and in-store activation initiatives.
Develop, execute and monitor promotional plans, ensuring alignment with both company objectives and customer needs.
Identify and unlock business opportunities to accelerate category growth, increase profitability and improve execution, leveraging market analysis, customer insights and regular store visits.
Conduct store checks to monitor product availability, promotional execution, competitor activities and shopper behavior, providing actionable recommendations to drive sell-out performance.
The experience we're looking for
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Economics or a related field.
4-5 years of sales experience within the FMCG industry, with proven success in managing key customers and driving commercial performance.
Previous experience in Marketing or Trade Marketing is considered a plus.
Fluent in Italian and English, both written and spoken.
Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across all organizational levels
Results-oriented, with a high level of accountability, ownership and autonomy.
Dynamic, proactive and energetic mindset, with strong motivation and a customer-centric approach.
Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
