The Production Operator I will report directly to the Shift Leader and is responsible for performing a variety of production tasks to assist with operations in production.
Key Responsibilities- Package 10‑50 lb. bags of bulk product via saddle to pallet as well as fill 3000 lb. super sacks.
- Clean warehouse and equipment as required.
- Perform daily maintenance of equipment.
- Call specialists when more serious problems occur.
- Track various data associated with production equipment.
- Report inconsistencies and use standard repair procedures.
- Work in compliance with company safety and operating procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Good communication and basic math skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Previous experience in a production/manufacturing setting.
- Ability to work in a team and independently.
- Ability to follow a production report while working independently.
Standing, walking, hearing, speaking, driving vehicle, sense of balance, climbing, reaching, and manual dexterity are required for this position. Lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying up to 50 pounds is necessary. Moderate noise level in the workplace.
