• Assist customers in discovering new products and respond to inquiries with enthusiasm.
• Keep customers informed of special promotions and recommend grocery items to meet their needs.
• Ensure product quality by checking freshness and reviewing 'sell by' dates.
• Provide customers with fresh grocery products based on their orders.
• Label, stock, and manage inventory of merchandise.
• Report any discrepancies in product ordering or shipping to the department manager.
• Stay updated with current and upcoming promotions.
• Adhere strictly to food safety regulations and guidelines.
• Monitor temperatures in cases and coolers, maintaining logs accordingly.
• Build and maintain extensive knowledge of products sold in the department to assist customers effectively.
• Create a welcoming environment where customers feel valued and appreciated.
• Comply with safety procedures and help identify unsafe conditions.
• Conduct preventive maintenance on equipment and report repair needs.
• Notify management of any accidents involving customers or employees.
• Demonstrate the ability to work well in a fast-paced, sometimes stressful environment.

• Minimum:
  Strong customer service skills and effective communication abilities.
• Basic math proficiency (counting, addition, and subtraction).

• Previous customer service experience.
• Retail background.
