Job Summary

• Review and interpret project RFPs, blueprints, specifications, and related documents.
• Maintain comprehensive bid document controls.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates for labor, materials, equipment, and time requirements.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to prepare accurate and comprehensive estimates, project books, and final accounting budgets.
• Maintain and update project cost databases and historical data for future reference.
• Identify and assess potential risks and provide solutions to mitigate them.
• Ensure all estimates comply with company standards and client requirements.
• Communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to obtain necessary information and clarify project details.
• Maintain knowledge of various construction cost factors, including material prices, labor cost, and market values.
• Balance/prioritize multiple bids to ensure all proposals are completed on time.

• Proven experience and success as a Construction Estimator or similar role in the construction industry.
• Multi-site, build to suit, and retail experience is preferred.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and project management principles.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, specifications, and technical documents.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
