Graduate Nurse- NHC Milan

About the Role

NHC Health Care Milan is seeking compassionate Registered Nurses (RN) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) to join our team.

New graduates will complete a 5-week orientation program training alongside experienced floor nurses to ensure a confident transition into their clinical roles.

• Training: 5-week timeframe with licensed floor nurses.
• Requirements:
  Complete a competency checklist and successfully pass the NCLEX-RN or NCLEX-PN
  .
• Supervision:
  Report to floor nurses and nurse managers during the training period.

• Provide high-quality patient assessment and individualized care planning.
• Administer medications and treatments, including IV fluids and meds.
• Lead by example, assisting with hands‑on care and supporting the nursing team.
• Maintain clear communication with physicians, families, and interdisciplinary partners.
• Complete clinical documentation, including skin assessments and nursing summaries.
• Supervise and mentor nursing partners to ensure patient safety and dignity.

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (RN or LPN).
• Current unencumbered state license (upon completion of NCLEX).
• Ability to stand/walk for 12‑hour shifts and lift 60–70 lbs.
• Strong organizational, prioritizing, and problem‑solving skills.
