Job Requirements and DutiesYou must be at least 18 years old, hold a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record that meets company standards, and have access to an insured vehicle for delivery. You should be able to navigate maps, locate addresses within the delivery area, and handle adverse terrain such as multi‐story buildings.

GeneralJob Duties for All Store Team Members
- Operate all equipment.
- Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, and walk‑in cooler.
- Prepare product.
- Receive and process telephone orders.
- Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
- Clean equipment and facility approximately daily.
Orientation and training provided on the job.
Communication Skills- Comprehend and give correct written instructions.
- Communicate verbally with customers and co‑workers to process orders over the phone and in person.
- Perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly, possibly using a calculator.
- Make correct monetary change.
- Use verbal, written, and telephone skills to take and process orders. Demonstrate motor coordination for rapid, accurate movements.
- Enter orders using a keyboard or touch screen.
- Navigate a map and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
- Navigate adverse terrain, including multi‑story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying products.
- Varying and sometimes adverse weather when removing trash and performing other outside tasks.
- In‑store temperatures ranging from 36°F in the cooler to 90°F or higher in some areas.
- Sudden temperature changes in work areas and while outside.
- Fumes from food odors.
- Exposure to cornmeal dust.
- Cramped quarters, including walk‑in cooler.
- Hot surfaces/tools from oven up to 500°F or higher.
- Sharp edges and moving mechanical parts.
- Varying and sometimes adverse weather when delivering product, driving, and couponing.
- Use telephone for talking and hearing; required near and mid‑range vision for in‑store tasks.
- Depth perception.
- Differentiate between hot and cold surfaces.
- Far vision and night vision for driving.
Ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet strict quality control standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.
Physical RequirementsStanding
:
Most tasks are performed standing. Walking surfaces include ceramic tile and linoleum. Work surfaces range from 36” to 48”.
Walking
:
Short distances, short durations. Delivery personnel travel between the store, vehicle, and customers.
Sitting
:
Paperwork is completed in an office at a desk or table.
Lifting
:
Bulk product deliveries (up to 50 pounds) are unloaded using a hand truck. Cases are loaded onto shelves up to 72” high.
Carrying
:
Large cans (≈3 lb 7 oz), pizza sauce (30 lb), and trays of dough (≈12 lb each) are carried during preparation and delivery.
Pushing
:
Trays on dollies require a force of up to 7.5 lb to push.
Climbing
:
Infrequent navigation of stairs or ladders; delivery may require five or more flights of stairs.
Stooping/Bending
:
Forward bending required at assembly stations and the front counter; repeated throughout the shift.
Crouching/Squatting
:
Occasional; used for stocking shelves and cleaning low areas.
Reaching
:
Continuous up, down, and forward reaching, including reaching above 72”, to operate oven controls, adjust prices, and retrieve ingredients.
Driving
:
Deliver pizzas within the designated area, complete several deliveries per shift, and deliver flyers and door hangers.
Machines, Tools, Equipment, Work Aids
:
Use pencils, pens, computers, telephones, calculators, TDD equipment, pizza cutters, and pizza peels.
