Job Title: RN - Extended Care

Job Summary:
The Registered Nurse (RN) in Extended Care utilizes a comprehensive interpersonal process to focus on the individual within their family, culture, and society. The RN employs the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to ensure residents achieve or maintain their highest practicable level of function. Acting as a resident advocate, the RN provides information for informed health decisions, coordinates care, and ensures quality standards are met.

The RN also serves as a role model for the healthcare team.

Required Qualifications:

• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing (ASN).

• Current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice.

• BLS certification from the American Heart Association.

Additional Information:

• Physical demands include lifting objects over 100 lbs. and frequent lifting/carrying up to 50 lbs.
