American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring a Montana or compact RN license and BLS certification.

• Work in the Emergency Department of a hospital setting
• Night shift, 12-hour shifts
• 36 hours per week across 3 shifts
• May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications based on business need
• May be required to be placed on-call during a regularly scheduled shift
• Uses Epic charting system

• Active RN license (Montana or Compact) currently in hand, no pending licenses accepted
• BLS certification through American Heart Association required, must not expire prior to start
• ACLS, NRP, and/or PALS certification required as appropriate for unit or service
• ASN required, BSN preferred
• Minimum 1 year of experience in Emergency Department nursing required
• Epic EMR experience preferred

• Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions in accordance with accepted practice standards
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for ED patients
• Perform health teaching and counseling for patients and families
• Provide therapy and treatment supportive to patient recovery and well-being
• Document care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Refer patients as needed for further evaluation or treatment
• Former permanent staff must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for this travel assignment
