American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring MT or compact RN license and Epic experience.

• Mom Baby Unit within a hospital setting
• Day shift, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week (36 hours/week)
• May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications
• May be placed on-call during a regularly scheduled shift
• Uses Epic for charting

• Active MT or compact RN license required
• Current BLS certification (AHA) required, must not expire prior to start
• NRP, ACLS, and PALS certifications required as appropriate for unit or service
• ASN required, BSN preferred
• Minimum 1 year of experience in Labor & Delivery specialty required
• Epic charting experience required DOB and last 4 of SSN required for consideration

• Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions in accordance with accepted nursing practice standards
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care including health teaching and counseling
• Document care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Review and monitor therapy and treatment plans, referring patients for further evaluation as needed
• Background check and drug screen required, with results typically taking at least 2 weeks
• Permanent staff must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before eligibility for a travel assignment

The $2,902 weekly pay shown in this posting, along with related figures, corresponds to the higher end of this range. Weekly travel pay includes tax-free stipends per IRS guidelines. Weekly local pay is fully taxable and therefore lower due to additional employer-paid taxes and related costs.
