Travel RN - ICU

American Traveler is hiring an ICU RN for a night shift position requiring MT or compact RN licensure, BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.

• Active RN license (MT or compact) required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS (American Heart Association, not expiring prior to start)
• ASN required; BSN preferred
• Minimum 1 year of experience in the ICU specialty required
• Epic charting experience required
• DOB and last 4 of SSN required for consideration

• Work in the Intensive Care Unit of a hospital setting
• Night shift, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week (36 hours per week)
• May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications
• May be required to take on-call shifts during a regularly scheduled shift
• Uses Epic for clinical documentation
• Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical duties per state Board of Nursing standards
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care across the patient care continuum
• Monitor and review therapy and treatment plans, refer patients as needed
• Document care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Promote the mission, vision, and values of the health system
• Returning staff must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
• Background check and drug screen results required prior to start, with drug screening expected within 24 hours of commitment
