Traffic Safety Services, Inc., is seeking a dependable and safety‑focused Traffic Control Laborer to support our flagging teams through proper setup, maintenance, and removal of traffic control devices. When working in the shop, the pay range is between $18.00 to $20.00 an hour.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Drive the company vehicle to and from job sites in a safe manner.
  • Responsible for following all safety rules and regulations.
  • Deliver, set up, tear down, pick up, and maintain traffic control devices.
  • Assist any/or all departments to ensure the timely completion of jobs and projects.
  • Maintain a clean shop and yard.
  • Operate motor vehicles, hook up trailers, and back up trailers.
  • Wash, clean, inspect, maintain, fuel, and stock trucks, equipment, and vehicles assigned to jobs.
  • Organize and maintain inventory.
  • Independently load, securely tie down, transport, and unload trucks, trailers, and equipment.
  • Safely lift, carry, and stack traffic control devices and other job‑related materials as needed.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
  • All other duties as assigned.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds with appropriate assistance/equipment.
  • Requires one to walk, stand, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and reach with hands and arms.
  • Regularly exposed to outside weather conditions, moving equipment and machinery parts, moving traffic, fumes, and airborne particles.
QUALIFICATIONS/PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
  • Valid driver's license, CDL is a plus. Clean driving record is required.
  • Must be 18 years old.
  • Previous experience operating a forklift, skid‑steer, is a plus.
  • Must have a reliable communication method in order to receive work schedule.
  • Must have basic math skills, including the ability to read a tape measure.
  • Must conduct yourself in a manner promoting a professional atmosphere by being a team player, self‑motivated, organized, and having a positive attitude.
  • Must have good oral and/or written English communication skills.
  • Work week varies - overtime is required when needed.
