Seasonal Chaplain | Windsor Mill, MD

Overview

Sam Samaritans Purse is seeking Chaplains to support the Operation Christmas Child Processing Center Team. The role is seasonal, full‑time (40+ hours per week, including Saturdays), and runs from mid‑November through mid‑December at the Windsor Mill, MD site.

• Collaborate with OCC staff and volunteers to share the love of Jesus with children worldwide.
• Deliver daily devotions for seasonal associates.
• Provide spiritual guidance and support to staff and volunteers.
• Lead public prayers for gospel opportunities during periodic processing breaks.
• Walk the facility, engaging individuals in prayer and sharing the Gospel.
• Work with the PC management team to create an atmosphere of joy and service.

• At least 18 years of age.
• High level of spiritual maturity and experience serving in pastoral ministry.
• Excellent interpersonal and public speaking skills.
• Strong Christian character.
• Desire to help others grow in their walk with the Lord.
• Ability to accurately articulate the gospel and teach the Bible.
• Team‑oriented mindset and aptitude for working well with others.
• Comfortable using public address systems and speaking in front of large audiences.
• Availability to complete a social media review, provide pastoral and professional references, and pass a criminal background check after an offer is made.

Pay Rate: $25.00 per hour
