We are seeking a highly organized, forward-thinking Senior Distribution Designer to oversee the daily operations of our electrical and gas engineering design teams. This role is ideal for a strategic leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about optimizing processes, leading talented teams, and delivering top-tier results for utility infrastructure projects. You’ll play a pivotal role in driving operational excellence, supporting team development, and reinforcing our commitment to quality, safety, and client satisfaction.

• Oversee daily operations of electrical and gas utility design teams, ensuring on-time and high-quality project delivery.
• Optimize workflows, eliminate inefficiencies, and continuously improve engineering processes.
• Allocate resources effectively across multiple projects to meet tight deadlines and varying client needs.
• Manage, mentor, and support a high-performing team of Distribution Designers and Jr. Designers.
• Serve as a liaison between clients, contractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
• Foster a positive and inclusive team culture that prioritizes safety, collaboration, and accountability.
• Lead initiatives that enhance quality control and reduce rework across projects.

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
• 5–7+ years of operations leadership, ideally with at least 4 years in the utility or engineering design sector.
• Proven ability to lead teams and manage complex, deadline-driven engineering projects.
• In-depth understanding of electrical and gas utility design and infrastructure systems.
• Experience with project management tools and platforms such as CAD, GIS, Microstation, ED Calc.
• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
• Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement frameworks is a plus.
• Experience in startup or high-growth environments is strongly preferred.
