Front Desk Associate

Position located in Milford, CT. Full‑time, evening and weekend shift. Salary hourly $17.44.

• Welcome and exit members in a confident, professional, and friendly manner.
• Anticipate member needs, respond promptly, and acknowledge all members.
• Provide courteous telephone service, answering calls quickly and with complete accuracy.
• Use strong communication and problem‑solving skills to resolve customer concerns and ensure a pleasant experience.
• Maintain club cleanliness for up to 50% of the shift.
• Deliver prompt, efficient customer service while maintaining high accuracy in a fast‑paced retail environment.
• Accept payments from customers, give change, and issue receipts.
• Drive revenue by communicating and demonstrating benefits of products and special promotions.
• Answer customer questions and provide information regarding business procedures and policies.

• Stand in as the authoritative figure when the General Manager and Assistant Manager are not available.
• Perform club opening and closing duties (key holder).
• Report end‑of‑day metrics.
• Follow up and coach staff.

• Manage multiple responsibilities.
• Solid work ethic with strong decision‑making skills.
• Self‑starter who takes initiative with minimal direction and supervision.
• Comfortable working a flexible rotating schedule.
• Superior customer service skills, preferably in the fitness industry.
• Strong problem‑resolution skills.

• 18 years old or older.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Six months of face‑to‑face customer service experience in a retail environment, or one year of fitness experience preferred.

• Ability to talk, hear, sit, stand, use hands and fingers.
• Stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
• Frequent lifting and moving of objects up to 50 lbs, occasionally up to 75 lbs.

• Weekday and/or weekend hours based on club needs.
• Open or flexible availability is a plus.
