We are looking for a qualified high school Computer Science / Technology Education Teacher who has knowledge and skills required to teach a dynamic curriculum.

Qualifications

* Certification:
The successful candidate must hold current CT certification Technology Education Pk-12 (047)

* Excellent oral and written communication and human relation skills

Applicants should be able to demonstrate knowledge base to teach:

* Introduction to Computer Science

* AP Computer Science

* Robotics

* 3D Modeling and Animation

* Engineering

Responsibilities include:

* Design and implement lessons that provide opportunities for problem-solving, creativity, and communication skills in relation to authentic real-world problems

* Establish clear learning intentions and success criteria for learning

* Plan learning experiences to support individual students.

* Utilize formative assessment to monitor and adjust instruction

* Monitor and evaluate students' progress in relation to curriculum expectations

* Stay current with technology education and pedagogy and seek opportunities to share professional learning with colleagues.

* Organize and maintain records, manage time and resources effectively and efficiently.

* Foster positive relationships with community stakeholders

* Perform other duties as assigned
