In this role, you’ll support Head Start Teachers to create a joyful, inclusive, and developmentally appropriate learning environment for children ages 3–5.

What You’ll Do
  • Support classroom routines, instruction, and transitions throughout the day.
  • Foster a safe and nurturing space for children to learn and grow.
  • Help implement a child-centered curriculum that encourages exploration and creativity.
  • Assist with documentation and observation of children’s progress.
  • Model positive interactions, language, and behavior.
  • Build respectful, trusting relationships with children, families, and coworkers.
Who You Are
  • Passionate about early childhood education
  • Collaborative, dependable, and eager to learn.
  • Flexible and responsive to classroom and student needs.
Minimum Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED required; CDA or related coursework in ECE preferred.
  • Bilingual Spanish is preferred.
  • Ability to lift 40 lbs. and engage actively with children.
  • Pass a physical exam and background check.
  • Valid driver’s license or reliable transportation required.

Salary

This position earns up to $18.00/hr
