Field Operations Technician

Individual will perform a variety of operational and maintenance tasks associated with 24/7 operations of assigned facilities including pipeline safeguarding, measurement, corrosion, and compression to assure continuity of operations, operability of engines, compressors, cooling equipment, pumps, valves, fittings, and other associated equipment. This position is safety-sensitive and subject to random drug and alcohol testing.

• Working knowledge of pipeline maintenance and repair operations, including associated facilities, appurtenances, and equipment.
• Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
• Strong technical and analytical knowledge developed through training, formal education, or work experience.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Electrical controls and mechanical aptitude gained through training and/or work experience.
• Valid driver's license.

• Possesses the desire to learn and advance as a Pipeline Technician.
• Working knowledge of operations used in maintenance and repair of pipelines and all associated facilities, appurtenance, and equipment.
• Computer literate with working knowledge of Excel and Word.
• Able to work independently with little to no direction.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

• Proven ability to drive and perform job duties safely.
• Innovative problem solver without compromising procedure and policy.
• Willing to assume responsibility and take initiative to resolve issues
• Can perform tasks requiring heavy physical exertion in sometimes extreme weather conditions.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work, including heavy exertion in extreme weather conditions.
• Must be able and willing to work overtime, weekends, shift, be on call and standby, and travel overnight as required.
• Currently resides or is willing to relocate within 30 miles of the assigned reporting location.
