Senior Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Engineer to lead product development, engineering projects, and continuous improvement initiatives for our client, an established manufacturing company in Milford, CT. This role will oversee projects from concept to implementation, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and provide technical leadership to support business objectives.

• Lead engineering projects, ensuring goals, timelines, and quality standards are met.
• Design, develop, test, and improve products and processes.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, and Operations teams.
• Analyze technical issues and implement effective solutions.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.
• Support product testing, validation, and regulatory compliance.
• Drive continuous improvement and cost reduction initiatives.
• Prepare technical documentation and project reports.
• Partner with the VP of Engineering on strategic planning and engineering priorities.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related field).
• 5+ years of engineering experience with project leadership responsibilities.
• Experience with product design, development, and testing.
• Proficiency with CAD and other engineering software tools.
• Strong problem-solving, project management, and communication skills.
• Experience working in cross-functional environments.
• Master's degree or professional engineering certifications a plus
• Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement experience a plus
