Financial AnalystAt Athletic Brewing, we are on a mission to revolutionize the beer industry. The Financial Analyst will build and leverage financial models to forecast all facets of the business, compare company results to budget, evaluate spend, work with Marketing and Sales, create dashboards, and present financial results to all levels of management.
Job Responsibilities- Build and leverage financial models to forecast all facets of the business, as well as ad‑hoc projects and opportunities
- On a monthly basis, compare company results to budget and perform variance analysis
- Evaluate company spend and projects to provide insights on how to best allocate company funds and assess the return on investment of projects and processes
- Work directly with other departments, in particular Marketing and Sales, to help report on and evaluate projects and key initiatives. Leverage data to help departments assess best performing channels of spend
- Create and maintain KPI dashboards, and track and analyze business metrics; gain an understanding of multiple systems and data sources to drive visibility into key business metrics
- Create presentations that include financial results and analysis to all levels of management as well as to external parties
- Other duties, responsibilities, and activities may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice

- Experience:
3+ years in a finance role, preferably in a data‑driven business environment - Computer
Skills:
Microsoft Excel required; demonstrated ability to learn new systems quickly - Certificates, Licenses, registrations: CPA or CFA a plus
- Education:
A Bachelor’s degree is required with a major in Finance, Accounting, or Economics
- Location:
Located onsite at our Milford, CT brewery. In the office, 4 days a week is required - Base Salary: $90-$140k – commensurate with experience
- Bonus:
Eligible for discretionary annual bonus up to 10‑15% of base pay
