Residential Hospice cares for medical, spiritual, and emotional needs. Our team includes physicians, registered nurses, social workers, and spiritual care counselors who work together to care for the whole patient.
Thank you for considering our call for caring companionship. We are currently making visits to patients in the area and welcome your participation in our volunteer program. Regular visits provide respite and joy for patients and caregivers, and volunteering is mutually rewarding.
Volunteer orientation will be provided, and a supportive staff will welcome you to the team. Please consider making a difference in someone’s world as a Residential Hospice volunteer.
Requirements & ResponsibilitiesThe role involves providing presence and companionship to hospice patients and supporting caregivers. An interview, background check, drug and fingerprint screening, and TB test are required before visits can be set up. We adhere to protocols that ensure safety and peace of mind. We cannot accept court-ordered community service, and volunteers must be 18 or older.
Upon completed application, you will undergo an interview and the required screenings. Volunteer orientation will be provided and ongoing support will be available from our staff.
