Patient Service Representative Float Team - Primary Care - FTE - Foundation Medical Partners

Southern New Hampshire Health's physician practices are dedicated to providing exceptional care and outstanding service to our patients and communities. Our Patient Service Representatives are often the first point of contact for patients and play a critical role in creating a positive experience across our network of practices.

The Patient Service Representative (PSR) Float is responsible for providing front office coverage across multiple Southern New Hampshire Health practice locations as needed. This role requires flexibility and the ability to travel between practices, sometimes supporting more than one location in the same day. The PSR Float serves as a vital resource to ensure seamless operations and excellent patient service throughout the organization.

• Greet and direct patients, visitors, and customers in a professional and compassionate manner
• Answer incoming telephone calls and provide general information
• Perform patient check-in and check-out functions
• Schedule appointments and requested testing
• Enter and track referrals
• Verify and update patient demographic and registration information
• Collect and process co-pays and daily payment batches accurately
• Scan and index documentation into the electronic medical record
• Provide coverage for multiple practice locations, including weekend and holiday rotations as needed
• Support Patient Centered Medical Home initiatives and other special projects
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA and organizational policies and procedures

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Valid Driver's License required
• Minimum one year of customer service experience preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Familiarity with Windows-based office applications
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
• Caring and compassionate customer service approach
• Flexibility to travel to and work from various Southern New Hampshire Health practice locations
• Ability to adapt quickly to different offices, teams, and workflows
