CMM Inspector​/Programmer – Second Shift

Location: Milford, CT (Onsite)

Shift: Second shift | 6:00 PM – 2:30 AM

Pay: $25/hr+ (commensurate with experience)

We are seeking a skilled CMM Inspector / Programmer to join a precision manufacturing environment on second shift
. This role is hands-on and requires strong technical depth in CMM programming, GD&T interpretation, and dimensional inspection.

This is not an entry-level inspection role. Candidates must be comfortable working independently and programming inspection routines, not just running pre-existing programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Program and operate Zeiss CMM systems

• Perform dimensional inspections using OGP and Keyence equipment

• Interpret and apply GD&T to ensure product compliance

• Inspect machined and manufactured components to engineering drawings and specifications

• Document inspection results and communicate nonconformances

• Support quality and manufacturing teams by identifying trends and potential issues

• Maintain accurate inspection records and follow quality procedures

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience as a CMM Inspector and Programmer

• Strong working knowledge of GD&T

• Hands-on experience programming Zeiss CMM

• Experience with
  OGP and/or Keyence inspection systems

• Background in a manufacturing or precision machining environment

• Ability to work second shift on a consistent basis

• Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in aerospace, defense, medical device, or high-precision manufacturing

• Exposure to multiple CMM software platforms

• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
