Manufacturing Associate I, Buffer & Media Prep

Role focused on biologics manufacturing, specializing in preparation of buffers and media to support cell culture and purification teams. The role also provides support to central services for glass washer, autoclave, and weigh & dispense operations, and may be assigned additional duties within upstream and downstream manufacturing operations.

• Preparation of buffer and media, weigh and dispense operations, operating the glass washer and autoclave, and supporting manufacturing teams as needed.
• Operate manufacturing process equipment to perform various production steps.
• Monitor and record batch parameters, including computer data entry.
• Complete relevant paperwork following GDP/GMP guidelines.
• Order, receive, and distribute supplies into the production area as required.
• Perform additional duties as assigned, with increased activities during production processing.
• Maintain familiarity with laboratory and pharmaceutical production equipment such as autoclaves, glass washers, process tanks, and analytical equipment.
• Apply standard troubleshooting approaches, including problem statement, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.

• High school diploma with at least one year of related experience, or an associate degree in Life Sciences/Engineering.
• Biotech Certificate preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Strong mathematical skills and ability to work with both metric and US measurement standards, including military time.
• Ability to read and follow detailed written instructions; strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Capacity to write legibly and produce grammatically correct record entries.
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively and efficiently in a team environment.
• Ability to meet required schedule; position may include shift, weekend, holiday work and overtime as directed by the 365‑day production schedule.
• Physical capability to lift up to 25 lbs, remain on feet for extended periods, and push buffer containers ranging from 50L to 200L; must wear appropriate personal protective equipment.

Base Pay Range: $27/hr – $32/hr rentschler Biopharma is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. Compensation may be modified based on seniority, education, training, experience, and location.
