Pay Rate: $18.00–$22.00/hour (based on experience)
Schedule:
Monday–Friday
Shift Options: 8:30 AM–4:30 PM OR 7:30 AM–5:30 PM
Overtime:
Available as needed, Saturdays 7:00 AM–12:00 PM
A leading Electronic Contract Manufacturing company located in Milford, CT is seeking a skilled Solderer to join their manufacturing team. The company specializes in cost-effective, high-quality PCB assembly solutions, including complex Surface Mount Technology (SMT) and mixed technology assemblies.
By utilizing advanced manufacturing processes, state-of-the-art equipment, and World Class Manufacturing principles, the company helps customers bring their products to market faster while maintaining exceptional quality standards.
The Solderer will be responsible for performing precision soldering operations on electronic components and printed circuit board (PCB) assemblies while maintaining strict quality and workmanship standards.
The ideal candidate will have experience with fine-detail soldering, excellent hand-eye coordination, and the ability to work with small electronic components. Candidates must successfully complete a soldering skills test prior to hire.
Responsibilities- Perform hand soldering of electronic components onto printed circuit board assemblies (PCBs)
- Inspect solder joints and completed assemblies to ensure quality and accuracy
- Follow detailed work instructions, schematics, and manufacturing specifications
- Operate soldering irons, microscopes, and other electronic assembly tools
- Identify and correct soldering defects while maintaining production standards
- Complete assembly tasks while meeting quality, productivity, and safety requirements
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area
- Collaborate with production and quality teams to ensure finished products meet customer expectations
Previous soldering experience in an electronics manufacturing environment preferred
Ability to perform precise, detailed work with small components
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written instructions
Experience with PCB assembly, SMT, or electronic components is a plus
Excellent hand dexterity and hand-eye coordination
Ability to successfully pass a soldering skills test prior to employment
