Registered Nurse-Pre-Op​/PACU

Connecticut Eye Surgery Center South, Milford, CT

The position is full‑time, 36+ hours/week, Monday–Friday. The individual will work cooperatively with staff and physicians and perform a variety of tasks and responsibilities including, but not limited to, preparation of patients for procedures, administration of eye drops, IV placement, post‑anesthesia recovery, pain management, and patient education.

• Proficiency in nursing assessment and skills
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Current license in Connecticut to practice as a registered nurse
• Positive, energetic, strong team player and excellent communicator
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and strong decision‑making skills
• Current BLS and ACLS certification
• Pass a background check and drug screen
• Ophthalmology experience preferred, but not required
