Civita Care Center at Milford is now hiring a Staff Development Coordinator / RN to provide education, training, consultative and support services to the management team, staff and patients.

Duties and Responsibilities for Nursing Staff Development Coordinator:

· Determines the learning needs of staff in using a variety of methods in order to maintain or improve their competency

· Conducts formal and informal competency assessments with staff and nursing leadership.

· Utilizes data collected by PI, Nursing Leadership, Nursing Standards, staff, and nursing leadership to develop educational offerings

· Collaborates with members of the nursing leadership team to determine unit-specific educational needs

· In conjunction with the Nursing Leadership Team, assists in the growth and development of staff

· Assesses the learning needs of the orientees and plans a comprehensive orientation

Qualifications for Nursing Staff Development Coordinator:

· Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
