Food and Consumable associates are focused on two things: taking care of customers and creative merchandising. They move incoming merchandise out to the sales floor and create seasonal display features to meet the needs of the customer.

Our grocery associates play a vital role in ensuring customers have a positive shopping experience. You will make important decisions about the quality of fruit and vegetables customers eat and feed their families.

• Work in the deli and be on the front lines of customer service – a friendly smile can make the difference between a good shopping experience and a great one.
• Help customers in the bakery, not only by decorating cakes but also by celebrating special moments.
• Work in the dry grocery department and ensure customers find the items they are looking for.
• Clean and maintain shelves and departments, check and maintain temperature control, verify dates, and dispose of lesser quality food products.

No matter which fresh food or grocery area you work in, detailed cleaning, temperature checks, date verification, and product disposal are essential tasks.

• Help customers find the products they are looking for.
• Ensure high quality products are available in produce, deli, bakery, dairy, meat, and other departments.
• Pack ready‑to‑sell products in proper containers and stock displays.
• Prepare and serve ready‑to‑eat food.
• Assist customers in ordering cakes, fulfilling deli orders, or finding the right produce.
• Keep area clean, sanitized, and customer‑ready.
