Corporate Accounting Intern
The Corporate Accounting Intern will support the Accounting and Finance team with a variety of corporate accounting functions, including financial reporting, month-end close activities, subcontractor prequalification, accounts receivable, compliance initiatives, and other administrative responsibilities. This internship provides hands-on experience in a fast-paced corporate environment and exposure to key accounting processes that support the organization.
Responsibilities / Essential FunctionsAssist with project setup by assigning job numbers and establishing projects in various accounting system modules.
Prepare monthly account reconciliations and support month-end close activities.
Perform general ledger account analysis and investigate variances.
Assist with the review and analysis of subcontractor prequalification documentation.
Maintain subcontractor files and support the renewal process.
Track owner contract processing and maintain contract records.
Enter cash receipts and process daily deposits.
Support accounts receivable activities and recordkeeping.
Assist with sales and use tax compliance and maintain related documentation.
Support the Internal Audit Program and other corporate compliance initiatives.
Prepare and organize financial and administrative records.
Assist with special projects and other accounting-related tasks as assigned.

Required ExperienceCurrently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
Strong interest in corporate accounting and financial operations.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications required.
Previous internship, accounting, finance, or administrative experience is a plus.
