Major Responsibilities- Maintain accurate schedules and timecards for assigned departments using scheduling/timekeeping software.
- Track scheduling changes, position control, and weekly data (e.g., bonus logs, overtime).
- Utilize core staffing patterns and budgetary guidelines to book shifts and adjust staffing levels.
- Schedule staff and approve or deny time off and shift swaps per CBA and unit guidelines.
- Attend daily bed meetings and communicate staffing needs based on census and acuity.
- Take sick calls, provide coverage, and round with staff to assess and fill shift vacancies.

- Required:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook). - Required:
Experience with scheduling and/or timekeeping software. - Required:
Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills. - Required:
Ability to multitask, problem solve, and analyze complex staffing schedules. - Preferred:
Experience in a healthcare staffing office or similar role. - Preferred:
Experience with Kronos timekeeping software.
Unless certification, licensure or registration is required, an equivalent combination of education and experience which provides proficiency in the areas of responsibility listed may be substituted for the above requirements.
