Dental Hygienist:

Dr. Norfolk is seeking a professional, friendly, dependable, and team-oriented Dental Hygienist to join our growing practice. The ideal candidate takes pride in providing excellent patient care, communicates well with patients and team members, and enjoys working in a calm, professional clinical environment.

• Collect and document medical and dental histories from patients.
• Evaluate overall oral health, examining for any signs & symptoms of disease.
• Chart dental conditions based on dentist’s observations and evaluations.
• Follow through with oral hygiene procedures in accordance with treatment plans prescribed by the attending Dentist. Procedures may include Prophylaxis, Periodontal Scaling, Root Planning, Debridement, Application of Fluoride Treatment, etc.
• Sterilize dental instruments and tools.
• Instruct patients of all ages on proper dental hygiene and care.
• Take necessary radiographs as needed.
• Provide chair-side assistance during dental procedures.
• Document lab procedures and ensures follow up on results.
• Assists with or institutes emergency measures for sudden adverse developments.
• Provide a welcoming and comfortable experience for both adults and children.
• Work collaboratively with doctors, assistants, and front office team members to provide exceptional patient care.
