• High School Diploma or GED required
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• Sheltered English Immersion (SEI) Endorsement preferred
• Experience working with students with and without disabilities
• Demonstrated ability to assist in the inclusion and/or Special Education classroom
• Experience working with English Language Learners
• Bilingual preferred
• CPI training preferred
• Citizenship, residency or work visa required

• Work under the supervision of building administration, Special Education teachers, and classroom teachers
• Assist small groups and/or individual students with progress toward academic, social-emotional, and/or behavioral goals within the classroom, with guidance provided by the teacher
• Communicate and collaborate with teachers
• Provide direct instruction in an inclusion classroom or small group setting
• Ability to modify curriculum
• Maintain confidential information
• Collect data on student performance as needed
• Assist students with daily living/self-help skills
• Attend and participate in training opportunities as directed
• Perform supervisory duties, as assigned by school administration
